Saporito Frank Santoro, Joan VanNess, Charlie Isola and Pierre Galarneau On August 23, at Blueberry Hill, home of Dick Martell and Bob Henzler, the Cherry Grove Community Association, Inc. (CGCAI) presented its 2008 Community Service Awards to Joan Van Ness, Frank Santoro and Pierre Galarneau for their work on behalf of Grove organizations, including, in Joan's case, CGCAI, the Arts Project of Cherry Grove (APCG-for which she served as Homecoming Queen 1994 Scarlet Oh), the Fire Department, the Dunes Fund, and the Doctor's Fund, and, in Frank and Pierre's case, CGCAI, APCG, and the Property Owners Association. CGCAI President Charlie Isola made opening remarks, President-Elect Diane Romano presented Joan with her award, and Property Owners Association President Larry Lane presented Frank and Pierre's awards.
