Editor’s note: The 10th Anniversary Women’s Pride in the Pines, on June 12, was organized by LGBT Focus Foundation President Linda Gottlieb and benefited the Ali Forney Center, which offers meals and medical and mental services to homeless LGBTQ youth. The dress code for Women’s Pride was classic silver and white. The event consisted of a dance at Whyte Hall, with DJ Susan Levine, and a VIP buffet dinner and show. Entertainers announced included comedian Jessica Kirson, All Stars Superstar Jan Sport, and a special guest from “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” season 12. Cherry Grove’s Angela Smith and Sue Panzer attended and shared their photos with Fire Island Q News.
