Renee Flaming & company' 'Bring on the Men'' ...........................................................................................

Reigning Miss Fire Island Renée Flaming had her first show of the season, at Cherry's, on June 22, and presented a number of illustrious guests, including Mr. Fire Island Leather 2010 Rob Ferri. Former Miss Fire Island Ginger Moore was in the DJ booth.

Affecting a leathery look, complete with bustier, statuesque Renée bravely told us that "The Show Must Go On." In her little red dress, she let us know that "I'm a raunchy kind of gal." She was glitzy in gold when she bade us "Better keep your eyes on me," gave us "Fever" and, in a song from "Nine," dedicated to significant other Ooofaaa, gushed, "I love the cinema Italiano!"

Renée's guests from across the way and up the ramp at the Ice Palace were Logan Hardcore, who rapped, "A diva is a female version of a hustler," and Dallas Dubois, who declared, "I'm fabulous, baby!" Madison Mansfield came from Long Island for a sultry "Sooner or Later," Stephen Sondheim's number from "Dick Tracy," written for Madonna, and for "Some Like It Hot."

Renée's sexy grand finale was "Bring on the Men," from "Jekyll and Hyde," and the matchless men she shared it with were Mr. FI Leather Rob, Jumping Jack's Seafood Shack pianist Dan Daly, Top of the Bay bartender Paul, and Cherry Lane waiter Mark.
