Daniel Nardicio’s August 17 ‘Nardi Gras’ Underwear Party, at the Ice Palace, kicking off the weekend of Ascension, the party in Fire Island Pines, attracted not only a capacity crowd, but also a varied one. DJ Chuck McTague was responsible for music, lights, and sound.
The Mardi Gras theme meant that many wore beads and masks. Porsche/Brant introduced her friends Joe and Stephanie, from Austin, Texas, for whose wedding he had served as best man. Transbear Raven introduced his friend John, visiting from North Carolina. And dancer Luis, in leathery gear, introduced himself.
