Daniel Nardicio’s fifth annual Mr. Nude Belvedere contest took place on September 9, at clothing optional Belvedere Guest House, during the sixth annual Spartacus event, “Barbarians Rising,” and for the second consecutive year, the audience selected the Daddy among the contestants, Clay Magnus, 59, as the winner.
Guests came dressed as gladiators, as Caesar, in togas, and in other costumes of antiquity, sometimes wearing little more than laurel wreaths.
Clay faced other contenders Radius, who came as a unicorn, and was runner-up; Patrick from the “Fire Island” reality TV series, who was the third semi-finalist; Matt; Dallion; Derek; and John. Clay and Derek both play bagpipes. Beside the title, Clay won $300 and a free weekend at Belvedere.
DJ Johnny Dynell was responsible for music. A pair of gladiator go-go dancers entertained.
