The Arts Project of Cherry Grove (APCG) held its annual pre-season In-Town Party at the Monster this year, on March 8. It was a pleasure to see each other after so many months and the reunion was a welcome one.
We enjoyed sandwiches, salads, wonderful desserts, and open bar, as well as sing-alongs with Sand Castle, the Monster, and Marie’s Crisis’ Dan Daly and the Monster’s Martin St. Lawrence, alternating at the piano, and a mid-party birthday celebration, thrown by Sue Panzer for Angela Smith.
Cherry Grove veterans APCG President Panzi; Cherry Grove Community Association, Inc. President Diane Romano with Pat Goff; Rose Levine with Michael Fitzgerald; Sal Piro; Valerie L. Perez; Meryl Facterman and Donna; Johny Pool; and Philomena with Michael Abdis were among those present, as well as APCG Board of Directors members Dennis McConkey, Eric Coyne, Joanne Orfanos, Andi Porzio, Sue, Matt Baney with Chris Caswell, James Hughes, and Michael Moran with Matthew George, and Q News’ Sherri Rase and Lee Sharmat. Davida Jones was present, campaigning for Homecoming Queen 2020, as was Holly Box Spring with a handsome escort.
See you at the membership party, where we’ll choose the new Homecoming Queen, at the Cherry Grove Community House during Memorial Day Weekend!
