James P. Hughes, Arts Project of Cherry Grove (APCG) Recording Secretary, who lived on Main Walk in Cherry Grove, passed away on August 20. According to his housemates, he was taken ill that morning, went to a hospital Intensive Care Unit, where they discovered internal bleeding, and died that night.
APCG President Thom “Panzi” Hansen posted on Facebook, “We are so sad to hear this news! James has been an integral part of the APCG for many, many years: whether it be fun with Bingo or the tedious job of taking the Board’s minutes, James was a treasure. His contribution to the Community was so important … and his humor! He kept us smiling with all his Facebook posts. Another Cherry Grove angel will be watching over us.”
Some of us well remember his tiny dinosaur garden at the house then known as Caprice.
James will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to his significant other Charles, and James' family, housemates, and friends.
