Philomena & Joan & Lorraine Mark Milestones

The ageless Phil “Philomena” Stoehr has, amazingly, turned 50 and he and partner Michael Abdis threw a lavish party around the pool and in the home they share on Gerard Walk on July 8, Phil’s actual birthday. Most of Cherry Grove was invited and was there to enjoy bagels and lox and cream cheese, chopped liver, and desserts. On the same day, their neighbors on Gerard, Joan Van Ness and Lorraine Michels, celebrated a baker’s dozen years together and, to mark the day, on their lawn was a large pair of pink flamingo balloons, holding a sign, decorated with red hearts and saying, “I love you! Happy 13th anniversary.”
