DAN EVANS: PAINTER
Dan Evans, who lives in Cherry Grove, will be the featured artist in the first of a series of exhibits this 2002 season at the Barbara Ann Levy Gallery in Cherry Grove. PHILIS RASKIND: SCULPTOR
Through the tutelage of sculptor/instructor Evangelos Frudakis, she learned to see the human form, she is influenced by the Hellenistic and Renaissance periods, but more so by the influence of her friend and self-effacing mentor of nearly thirty years, the late Paul Cadmus. The incredible impact of his sculptural drawings, have had the most important impact upon her work. She owes him a great measure of her continued attempts as a sculptor/artist to his influence and encouragement.. -- continued on Philis' page

LYNDA ENGSTROM: PAINTER
Artist, Art Director and Web Designer who lives and works in Manhattan. She is a Pratt graduate whose artistic versatility has won her CBS Art Director awards as well as exhibits of her fine art Painting and Graphic work at The Aldrich Museum and the Waverly Gallery in NY. In addition to her busy Art and Design career, she has recently become a part-time NYPD Auxiliary Police Officer in response to the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. She currently serves with the 24th Precinct in Manhattan. --
